Biography

I grew up in Winston-Salem attending Emory University for college and UNC Chapel School of Medicine. I completed residency at Wake Forest School of Medicine in Otolaryngology (also known as Ear Nose and Throat surgery) in 2000. I am board certified in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery. Over the last twenty years, I have worked for Wake Forest Baptist Health. Clinically, my practice focuses on children, many of whom have complicated problems or other medical conditions. I operate at Brenner Children’s Hospital. I also care for adults, primarily those requiring sinus and nasal surgery. I authored multiple published papers and book chapters on a wide variety of otolaryngology subjects. Nationally, I served as president of a medical specialty society, chaired committees, directed educational courses, and contributed to clinical practice guidelines.
