Support groups can be an integral part of the healing process. The staff of Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center is happy to help you connect with resources throughout the region.
Patient Relations
The Office of Patient and Family Relations of Wake Forest Baptist is responsible for providing assistance to patients during their stay. Members of the Patient and Family Relations team act as advocates to address patient concerns and grievances to resolve issues as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Advance Directives
Advanced care directives are specific instructions, prepared in advance, that are intended to direct a person's medical care if he or she becomes unable to do so in the future.

The Wake Forest Baptist Division of Faith and Health Ministries exists to support patients spiritually, offering ministries of growth, hope, and healing. Departments within this division include:

Palliative Care
Wake Forest Baptist Palliative Care specialists are committed to improving the quality of life for patients confronted with serious illnesses. Our team consists of nurses, nurse practitioners, physicians, pharmacy, chaplaincy, and social work.
Care at Home
Wake Forest Baptist and Gentiva Healthcare combined resources to enhance the way people receive one of the most important types of care - home health. With Care at Home, patients receive the benefit of two health care leaders committed to delivering innovative, excellent patient care.
Advanced Home Care
Advanced Home Care is a JCAHO accredited, non-profit organization, operating in affiliation with High Point Medical Center to provide a full range of home care services. We specialize in infusion and nutrition services, respiratory care services, home health, and home medical and rehab equipment. Our highly trained staff of nurses, pharmacists, respiratory therapists and patient service technicians can meet virtually every home care need in High Point, Greensboro and Winston-Salem.
