Rehabilitation services for people living with a variety of acute and chronic disorders and injuries.
Every patient who sees us will get a comprehensive new patient evaluation by a licensed physical therapist. The evaluation includes discussion about the patient’s condition and treatment plan to facilitate the best recovery. The physical therapy staff works closely with orthopaedic surgeons, physiatrists, rheumatologists, internists, family medicine physicians, and other providers to provide comprehensive treatment.
Patients typically seen in outpatient musculoskeletal therapy include individuals with injuries and diseases of the neck, TMJ, back, shoulder, pelvic girdle, hip, knee, ankle, and foot. We provide treatment for patients who have undergone total joint replacement surgery. We also provide treatment for chronic pain related to a variety of conditions, including: fibromyalgia, arthritis, chronic fatigue syndrome, Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (includes RSD), and headaches.
The treatment plan will be discussed with the patient and tailored to the patient’s specific needs. Treatments may a variety of interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, customized home programs, modalities, and aquatic therapy.
Excellence in the rehabilitative care of people with upper extremity injuries or disease processes. As an integral component of the team, our hand therapists work closely with our nationally and internationally recognized hand surgeons utilizing advanced surgical techniques and therapeutic interventions to maximize restoration of function in individuals with injured and diseased upper extremities.
Patients typically seen in Hand Therapy include those with upper extremity trauma, such as crush injuries and fractures; those with cumulative trauma, such as tendonitis and carpal tunnel syndrome; those with natural disease processes, such as rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis; and those with congenital anomalies.
After comprehensive evaluation, our hand therapists educate patients on their particular problems and their different treatment options. Treatment options may include wound care and scar management, customized static and dynamic splinting, sensory re-education, desensitization and customized home programs.
The staff also interacts with other specialties including psychology, social work, case management and vocational rehabilitation to ensure the most appropriate care for each patient.

The goal of the Neurorehabilitation therapy team is to help patients reach their highest level of function in their homes, in their communities and with their leisure activities. For some patients, the goal is to return to work or school. For others, it is to live independently.
Children are not little adults, but are individuals who are constantly developing. Sometimes the normal development process can be delayed by a variety of factors which require skilled evaluation and therapeutic intervention. We work with children from birth through 21 years of age. Our staff develops and delivers treatment plans based upon evaluation of emerging functional skills and seeks to build upon a child’s strengths.

Sports therapy training programs are designed and instructed by sports physical therapists and athletic trainers and may be offered at our main facility or at an off-site location.
