Highland Avenue Primary Care Clinic (HAPC) is a joint venture between Novant Health and Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist. The clinic was created to offer primary care services for our behavioral health community. It's location makes HAPC a win-win as it not only is housed within the same building as Daymark Recovery Services, but it also resides in an underserved area of Winston-Salem.
The team of providers at HAPC is skilled at caring for patients of all ages and with a variety of ailments. In addition to standard checkups, they are committed to delivering primary care services in one convenient clinic. X-rays and lab tests are offered on-site to evaluate injuries and illnesses. They also help manage chronic concerns such as diabetes and high blood pressure.
While HAPC accepts most insurance plans, it offers a sliding fee scale that grants uninsured patients access to care for a nominal fee. In addition, behavioral health patients without the ability to pay can be seen at no charge.
The mission of HAPC is "partnering to increase access to holistic health and wellness in our community while delivering compassionate and respectful care."
