About Endocrine Tumors
Endocrine tumors involve cells that make hormones. They may affect the thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal, and pituitary glands and the pancreas. Additionally, neuroendocrine tumors (NETs) may be located throughout the body, including the gastrointestinal (GI) tract and lungs.
Many endocrine tumors are benign (non-cancerous), but some are malignant (cancerous). Although some types are common, others are quite rare. Endocrine tumors may produce hormones that can cause a range of symptoms. In some cases, these tumors occur as part of hereditary syndromes (passed down in families).
Your treatment plan will depend on your exact diagnosis. Our experts have extensive experience with all types of endocrine tumors and cancers and use the latest medical advancements to personalize a plan for you.
