Brenner Children’s Hospital Is Now Part of the Levine Children’s Family
Brenner Children’s Hospital and Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist children’s locations are now part of a more extensive family of care, Atrium Health Levine Children’s. Get the same care you know and love, plus so much more.
Since 1986, Brenner Children’s Hospital has had one goal: to make sure every child gets the best care.
We’ve worked tirelessly over the years - from becoming the Triad region’s first and only children’s hospital to providing expert pediatric specialty care. We have the highest NICU designation possible for our smallest babies, as well as one of the state’s only Level I Children’s Surgery Centers, and have trained generations of health care leaders through Wake Forest University School of Medicine.
We’ll never stop looking for ways to make your child’s care even better. That’s why we’re excited to now be part of Atrium Health Levine Children’s and expand our integrated family of care across the Southeast. Together, we’re uniting some of the best and brightest in pediatric care, including our experts at Brenner Children’s Hospital and Wake Forest University School of Medicine, to better serve patients close to home - and from around the world.
Everything you know and love about Brenner Children’s Hospital and your pediatric care team is here to stay - now with even more. More access to care. More groundbreaking treatments and clinical trials. All with the continued confidence your child is exactly where they need to be.
Together, we have...

We are already exploring the benefits of expanding primary care telehealth to children with complex conditions.
- Create a united pediatric heart program: Brenner Children’s Hospital and Levine Children’s Hospital have worked together to provide the most advanced pediatric heart care for years. In 2022, we made it official, uniting our teams and working as one to lead our communities’ strongest pediatric heart program.
- Bring expert virtual care to schools: Together, we provide virtual care in more than 150 schools, making it possible for kids to get care for minor conditions without missing additional class.
