Mobile Login Instructions
Before watching the videos below, please download the Video Visit Login Instructions. If you would like to see the login process in action, you may view one of the three videos below. The first video is for Apple/iOS mobile devices, the second is for Android mobile devices, and the last video is for logging into a video visit from a computer or laptop. Please refer to the video that corresponds to the specific device that you plan to use for your video visit.

In order to do a video visit from your iPhone, you will need to download two apps from the App Store, the Extended Care app and the MyChart app where you will log in to your myWakeHealth account. To download these apps, go to the App Store on your iPhone. You can find these apps by searching for MyChart and Extended Care in the search bar. Be sure to download both the MyChart app and the Extended Care app prior to your video visit. After you have downloaded both apps, open your MyChart app. Use your myWakeHealth username and password to log into your account to access your appointments. If you do not already have a myWakeHealth account set up, you will need to set one up before you can do a video visit from your phone. If this is your first time logging into your MyChart app, you will first see this screen. Type in Wake Forest in the search bar and click on the Wake Forest Baptist Health logo.
After selecting your organization, you should now be able to log in using your myWakeHealth username and password. After logging into your myWakeHealth in MyChart, click the Appointments icon on your home page. You should see your appointment listed at the top as a video visit. Click on the appointment. A few minutes before your appointment, click the bar at the bottom of the screen that says Begin Visit. This will automatically open your Extended Care app that you had previously downloaded. Allow access to your microphone and your camera. You will be in a waiting room until your provider begins the visit on their end. Once your provider starts the visit, you should see them pop up on your screen.
Android

In order to do a video visit from your Android phone you will need to download two apps from the Google Play Store, the Extended Care app, and the MyChart app, where you will log to your My Wake Health account. To download these apps click the Play Store icon, which is a multicolored triangle. Once in the Play Store you can find the apps by searching for MyChart and Extended Care in the search bar. Be sure to download both the MyChart app and the Extended Care app prior to your video visit.
Next open your MyChart app. Use your My Wake Health username and password to log into your account to access your appointments. If you do not already have a My Wake Health account set up. You will need to set one up before you can do a video visit from your phone.
If this is your first time logging into your MyChart app you will first see this screen. Type in Wake Forest in the search bar, and click on the Wake Forest Baptist Health logo. After selecting your organization, you should now be able to log in using your My Wake Health username and password.
After logging to your My Wake Health account in MyChart click the appointments icon on your homepage. You should see your appointment listed at the top as a video visit. Click on the appointment. A few minutes before your appointment click the bar at the bottom of the screen that says Begin Visit. When prompted choose to complete the action using the Extended Care app always. This will open your visit in your Extended Care app that you previously downloaded. Allow access to record video to media on your device and to your audio. You will be in a virtual waiting room until your provider begins the visit on their end. Once your provider starts the visit you should see them pop up on your screen..
