Biography
“I have a passion for helping patients understand what their medications are for and how to take them to achieve the best results. I believe if patients understand the intended outcome, then they are more likely to take their medications.”
Anders is a board-certified oncology pharmacist and clinical pharmacist practitioner.
Her clinical interests include pre-transplant medication education and transplant discharge medication education.
She received her bachelor’s degree in chemistry at Emory and Henry College and her Doctor of Pharmacy degree at East Tennessee State University. She completed residency in oncology at West Virginia University.
Outside of work, she loves spending time with her husband, 3 kids and 3 dogs, exploring the outdoors and enjoying playgrounds and parks.
