Sarah Atchley is a certified pediatric speech-language pathologist. She specializes in working with children with speech and language disorders, including articulation (the inability to produce correct sounds), phonological (development) disorders, receptive language disorders, expressive language disorders and pragmatic language differences. Additionally, she treats pediatric cognitive linguistic disorders secondary to traumatic brain injuries and works with children who use augmentative alternative communication devices.
She has a background in early intervention and elementary school settings as well as clinical placements in the medical setting during her time in graduate school.
Atchley received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in speech-language pathology at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
