Biography

I am a board-certified, fellowship trained, ophthalmic surgeon specializing in pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus. I currently serve as the chief of pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus after being in academic medicine for over twenty-two years. I participate in pediatric eye disease research which has changed our current approach to how we care for children with amblyopia and strabismus. I did my ophthalmology training at Georgetown University and my fellowship training at the University of Southern California. I also hold a master’s degree in health evaluation science. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling internationally and spending time with my family and two dogs.
