I am a Counselor with the Addiction Research and Clinical Health (ARCH) team and work with patients on the Internal Medicine and Trauma services at Wake Forest Baptist Health. I am dual licensed in North Carolina as both a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS) and a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA).

I have over three years of experience providing screening and brief intervention services, and counseling services related to substance use, acute stress/post-traumatic stress, grief/loss, and adjustment issues to patients hospitalized at the medical center. Additionally, I have over three years of research experience, and continue to be actively involved in multiple research projects. My research areas of interest include substance use, the intersection of substance use and acute stress/post-traumatic stress, and health disparities and access to services.
