Lazarina Baez-Marinez is a board-certified family nurse practitioner and an advanced practice provider (APP) who focuses on transplant surgeries and chronic kidney disease. She provides pre- and post-transplant care for kidney and pancreas patients.
She is a member of the National Kidney Foundation (NKF) NC Medical Advisory Board.
Baez-Marinez received her master’s degree in nursing at the University of North Carolina.
She loves spending her time away from work outdoors with her family.
