William Walter Crone, MD

Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology since 1997, I provide a wide variety of healthcare services to my patients. From preventative care like pap smears and contraception to advanced medical and surgical treatments for gynecologic problems, I have the knowledge and experience to help you maximize your gynecologic health. I have a particular interest in alternatives to hysterectomy, including medical and minimally invasive surgical options. When those options fail, I specialize in minimally invasive laparoscopic hysterectomy, which allows patients to return to normal activities quickly.

Assisting patients and their families navigate pregnancy is another of my passions. Whether your pregnancy is low-risk, or complicated by factors such as diabetes, high blood pressure, or other issues, my team and I are here to assist you with prenatal care, ultrasounds, prenatal diagnostic testing, and labor & delivery at the Birth Center, and postpartum care.

I also have a keen interest in providing healthcare to transgender individuals. As a member of the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH,) I have completed advanced training in gender-affirming hormone therapy and other aspects of the health needs of transgender individuals.
