My mission as a family nurse practitioner is to educate, support and empower patients of all ages and assist them in taking personal responsibility for optimizing their health. I want to motivate them to identify their own wellness goals and explore ways to teach and assist them in their journey, as well as achieve and maintain their best health. I have a strong commitment to promoting wellness, preventing illness, and utilizing evidence-based practice in the care I provide. I am a native of Wilkes County and am truly happy to serve the community in which I live. I graduated from UNC-Charlotte in 2019 and have worked in the nursing field since 2003 with experience in ICU, Emergency Care, Women’s Health, Pediatrics and Urgent Care. I administer DOT physicals and am a certified medical examiner with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, traveling and enjoying the outdoors and all its beauty.
