Mara Duncan is a board-certified physician assistant who specializes in general orthopaedics. She is a certified athletic trainer in North Carolina and nationally.
After working as an athletic trainer for 8 years, her desire to care for people motivated her to advance her career and focus on orthopaedic medicine.
Duncan received her master’s degree in physician assistant studies at East Carolina University.
She enjoys spending her time away from work with her husband and dog. They love going to the gym, hiking and playing sports, especially flag football and ultimate frisbee. Duncan also likes cooking, reading and traveling.
