Biography

“I believe that children all over the world should have access to expert eye care so they can go on to live their best lives as adults.”

Dr. Dangda is trained in ophthalmology (diseases and conditions of the eyes). She specializes in treating children, including babies. Conditions she treats include cataracts, glaucoma, tear duct obstructions, strabismus (crossed eyes), amblyopia (lazy eye) and motility (movement) disorders in children and adults.

She has a special interest in glaucoma. She previously treated glaucoma and cataract cases in adults before focusing on pediatric eye diseases.

Dr. Dangda is a clinical assistant professor of ophthalmology at Wake Forest University School of Medicine.

She received her medical degree at Chaudhary Charan Singh University in Meerut, India. She completed residency in ophthalmology at the University of Delhi in New Delhi. Dr. Dangda completed fellowships at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai, the University of Tennessee and Children's Mercy Hospitals and Clinics.
