Biography
“Often, patients are concerned about poor vision and eye diseases. Explaining various vision and ocular problems can help me put patients' minds at ease. When problems or diseases are present, I will explore all the options available to address them.”
Dr. J. Grady Elliott is a doctor of optometry. He focuses on routine eye exams, contact lens fittings and ocular disease referrals when needed.
His interest in anatomy, physiology and physics led him to study optometry. He values demystifying the preconceived notions about vision changes and related conditions. Dr. Elliott has been practicing for more than 30 years.
He received his bachelor’s degree in biology at the University of North Carolina and his Doctorate of Optometry (OD) at Southern College of Optometry.
Married for over 30 years, he has 2 adult daughters. Dr. Elliott is a runner, mostly to keep his Labrador retriever happy. He enjoys fishing, especially fly fishing. If he can't be fishing on a stream, he likes to tie flies. If he can't tie flies, he dreams about fly fishing.
