About

Biography

“I have a passion for fixing and making things better than before. Orthopaedics provides opportunities to make patients significantly better and take away their pain. No other specialty combines the use of technology, surgical ability and physical examination skills.”

Dr. Jerrod Felder is board certified in orthopaedic surgery. His clinical interests include sports medicine, pediatric sports medicine, sports related injuries, arthroscopic and minimally invasive surgeries, joint replacements, shoulder and elbow conditions and upper and lower extremity ligament injuries.

He is the team physician at High Point Central High School and T. Wingate Andrews High School and the chief medical officer for the Carolina Core FC. He is a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Wake Forest University School of Medicine.

Dr. Felder received his bachelor’s degree at the University of North Carolina and his medical degree at Eastern Carolina University. He completed residency at the Cleveland Clinic Akron General and a fellowship in sports medicine at the University of Kentucky.

Outside of work, he enjoys doing home projects and spending time with his wife and 3 young children. They like to take walks, go to parks, the beach or the mountains and spend time with friends.
