Steven R. Feldman, MD, PhD

I am a board-certified dermatologist and dermatopathologist who does general medical dermatology (not much surgery or cosmetics) and specializes in psoriasis treatment. I am on the Medical Board of the National Psoriasis Foundation and in 2019 received the Foundation’s Outstanding Educator in Psoriatic Disease award. I have both MD and PhD degrees. A lot of my time is devoted to research, and my PhD involved study of the biochemistry of blood proteins, not patients. I am devoted to giving patients great care, and I appreciate my patients’ patience with me and feedback.  I like to know how my patients are doing, and I like to help them whenever I can. While MyAtriumHealth is a great resource for communication, my patients normally get my cell phone number so they can reach me when they need me.

I am happily married (for over 35 years!) and have two sons, one of whom is a sports writer and the other interested in the interface between psychology and economics. I work day and night, though magic is an on and off hobby of mine (and I would gladly show you or your child my magic tongue depressor if you like).
