I am an emergency medicine physician and educator with a desire to advance the science of educating future EM physicians. I am passionate about discovery in the field of education, particularly in the realm of best practices and assessment of knowledge and skill. I love working with medical students and residents, helping them realize and fulfill their potential and build their careers in medicine. That has led me to seek ways in which we could serve them better: by creating high-quality curricula and healthy learning environments that foster skill and knowledge attainment.
My work focuses on assessment of student and resident progress, critical skill achievement, and best practices in resident recruitment and wellness promotion. By helping our new and future physicians become the best clinicians they can be, I hope to improve health for all of our patients.
