Leslie Kammire, MD

I am a board-certified gynecologist dedicated to providing high quality personalized care to women of all ages. Having graduated from Wake Forest University for my undergraduate degree, medical school and residency, I am a “triple Deac”, and after 12 years of working in private practice in Lexington, NC, I returned to academic medicine. I provide general gynecologic care but specialize in minimally invasive vaginal hysterectomy, vulvar disorders, and HPV related disease. My academic mission is medical education with a focus on simulation and surgical teaching. Education is the best way I am able to contribute to improving health care for all women. My husband, Gordon, is also a triple Deac and an orthopedic surgeon in Lexington. We have four children who are still in school and we enjoy gardening, hiking, and all things outdoors.
