Biography

Dr. Kiran Mullur is board certified in family medicine. He focuses primarily on sports-related conditions and injuries in adults and children.

Conditions he treats include Achilles tendon injuries, ankle ligament tears, concussions, sprains, stress fractures and tendonitis. He also treats elbow, knee and shoulder pain and problems. Additionally, he provides casting and treatments with orthobiologics (substances to promote healing) and Synvisc (hyaluronic acid) injections.

Dr. Mullur is an assistant professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine and the Primary Care Sports Fellowship program at Wake Forest University School of Medicine.

He received his medical degree at the University of Massachusetts, where he graduated summa cum laude. He completed residency and a fellowship at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.
