“I find joy in helping people through hard things, including the fear of the unknown, the goals of care and other difficult conversations. It is an honor to walk this journey with people and make life the best we possibly can.”
Ray is a board-certified physician assistant. She focuses on hematology-oncology (cancer and blood diseases), stem cell transplants and other cellular therapies.
She was drawn to practice medicine after watching her father go through difficult health challenges. The experience motivated her to empower her patients with knowledge to make the best decisions.
Ray received her master’s degree in medical science at Wake Forest University.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and dog. She credits her church community for helping her family get through each week. Ray especially likes traveling internationally, eating good food and watching sporting events with her family.
