Biography

“I enjoy caring for patients on their best and worst days. Every day, I know I have been part of someone's journey, and that is a privilege.”

Dr. Seegars is board certified in internal medicine and specializes in hematology-oncology (blood disorders and cancer). She focuses on treating lymphomas.

She is an assistant professor of hematology-oncology at Wake Forest University School of Medicine.

Dr. Seegars received her undergraduate degree in biology at Presbyterian College. She received her medical degree and completed residency at the University of South Carolina.

Her research interests include cellular therapies, T-cell lymphomas and Hodgkin lymphoma.

When she’s not working, Dr. Seegars enjoys traveling and spending time with friends and family. She loves reading and music of all genres.
