Biography

I am a Professor of Neurology & Neurosurgery and Medical Director of Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) program at Wake Forest Baptist Health. I completed my neurology residency from Drexel University in Philadelphia and Fellowship in movement disorders and deep brain stimulation from University of Florida, Gainesville. I am fellow of the American Neurological Association and American Academy of Neurology and Co-Chair of Functional Neurosurgery Group of Parkinson's disease Study Group (PSG). I have also been included in the Best Doctors in America and have been a Principal investigator in many clinical trials for Parkinson’s disease including trials on drugs, medical devices and gene therapy. My publications have appeared in peer-reviewed journals such as Lancet Neurology, Neurology and Neurosurgery.
