I am a board certified urologist specializing in Men’s Health, with particular interest in optimizing sexual function and urinary control. After completing residency, I completed two separate fellowships in reconstructive surgery before joining the department of Urology at Wake Forest. I currently hold the rank of Professor and title of Vice Chair of Research for our department, and I direct the Men’s Health clinic, the male infertility program, and our fellowship program in reconstructive surgery. I also hold a joint appointment in the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

I perform the highest volume of penile implant procedures in North Carolina and we represent the premier regional center for surgical treatment of urethral strictures, Peyronie’s disease, male stress incontinence, and buried penis.

I enjoy teaching courses whereby other physicians may learn expert-level surgical technique and communication skills. My publications cover many topics within urology, and I lead multiple clinical trials in regenerative medicine. I was honored to be appointed President of the North Carolina Urological Association in 2019, and I remain heavily involved with the American Urological Association. I’ve been very fortunate to maintain a presence internationally for both education and service through surgical outreach to underserved areas. I also enjoy educating our Winston-Salem community on health matters through lectures or media interviews, such as the one seen here with a local news affiliate.
