Dr. Jessica Valente is board certified in internal medicine. Dr. Valente is the medical director for Atrium Health Care Plus. She focuses on addressing social determinants of health, complex chronic disease management and patient-centered care for patients frequently admitted to the hospital.
Additionally, she is the program director for the Primary Care Track and the associate program director for Ambulatory Education in the Internal Medicine Residency program at Wake Forest University School of Medicine.
She received her master of public health degree at Georgia State University and her medical degree at Emory University. She completed residency in internal medicine at the University of California, San Francisco, where she was chief resident.
In her free time, she enjoys exploring the trails and outdoor scene of Winston-Salem with her family.
