Amy Howell Wren is a certified nurse midwife and psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner.
She focuses on perinatal mental health, integrative psychiatry, women's mental health & reproductive psychiatry and obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN).
Her clinical interests include women’s mood disorders, depression, anxiety and how they relate to a person’s reproductive years. Wren has additional training in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) with a perinatal trauma focus including birth trauma, pregnancy loss, neonatal loss, and high-risk pregnancy.
Wren received her bachelor’s degree in nursing at The Ohio State University and her master’s degree in nursing at the University of Colorado. She received a post-master's certificate at the University of North Carolina.
