I am the Manager of the Addiction Research & Clinical Health (ARCH) Student Training Center. I am dually-licensed in NC as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) and Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS), as well as certified as a Clinical Supervisor (CCS) for substance use counselors and addiction specialists.
I provide counseling services related to substance use, acute and post-traumatic stress, grief and loss, and crisis stabilization to acutely injured and hospitalized patients. I also train students to provide these services. My supervision practice is an eclectic, strength-based approach and supervisee-centered. My research interests include substance use counseling, integrated care, co-occurring disorders, and trauma-informed care and supervision.
