Wake Forest Baptist provides imaging services for all aspects of patient care. We offer a full complement of state-of-the-art technology to provide outstanding quality in screening, diagnostic and interventional imaging for inpatients and outpatients. 

The radiology staff includes more than 50 board-certified radiologists, 14 radiology fellows and 40 residents who combine to interpret more than 400,000 imaging exams each year. Radiologists are members of the faculty of Wake Forest School of Medicine and fully contribute to the clinical, educational and research missions of the department.
 
Diagnostic Radiology uses advanced visualization tools such as MRI, CT and PET scans, ultrasound, X-rays and mammograms to identify and diagnose a wide range of conditions in children and adults. Our team consist of experienced technologists, nurses, physicists, care coordinators, and  other health care personnel work closely with our physicians to provide outstanding imaging examinations using state-of-the-art equipment.
 
Interventional radiology treats many conditions that once required conventional surgery. The most common procedures include uterine fibroid embolization, chemoembolization, vena cava filter placement/removal and radiofrequency ablation.
 
Vein Services, a service of NC Baptist Hospital, provides comprehensive care for a wide range of venous problems at our Clemmons outpatient facility. We specialize in the treatment of varicose veins, spider veins, and advanced venous stasis disease.
 
Wake Forest Baptist Imaging, a freestanding facility, provides a variety of imaging services to both Medical Center patients and outside referrals.
