Platelet rich plasma, commonly referred to as "PRP", is human blood that has been spun down to produce a concentration of platelets that have been separated. The separated plasma contains a higher concentration of platelets, which have growth factors and proteins which provide a natural way for your skin to reverse the signs of aging by providing volume.
How Does PRP Work?
Unlike dermal fillers, PRP imitates a biologically stem cell response that stimulates your body to produce more collagen like a “bioactive stimulator”. PRP promotes healthy tissue remodeling. This process takes place over a period of weeks and months to gradually adding volume to change your appearance to a younger appearance.

Will I Experience Any Side Effects?
There are no reported serious side effects or complications with the use of PRP. The most common side effects are tenderness, swelling, bruising, pain, redness and areas of firmness around the treatment area. These are not all of the possible side effects of PRP. Call your healthcare provider for medical advice about side effects.
How Much Will I Need?
You and your doctor will customize your treatment regimen, including the amount of PRP that is needed to treat the area of concern.
