Great Question! Food and Beverage tents will open, and the live music will begin at 11:00 AM. The main raffle drawing will begin at noon.
The event entrance is located on 3rd Avenue. Signage will be posted to indicate available parking areas, and parking attendants will be present to assist with any questions. If the designated parking lots are full, we suggest utilizing the public parking areas provided by the City of Lexington.
Handicap parking is available at Short Circuit Arcade Bar. You MUST enter 3rd Avenue from S. Railroad Street (Do NOT enter from Main Street). There will be a parking attendant at the S. Railroad Street entrance to move the gate and give you access to the handicap parking area. Please ensure your handicap credential is visible.
Guest tickets can be purchased on the day of the event for $25 each, granting access to Sportsmen’s Saturday. These tickets include food and beverages but do not include a chance to win raffle prizes. Every attendee over the age of 8 is required to purchase a guest ticket.
Tickets purchased by September 30th are considered Early Bird Tickets. These tickets are placed in a drawing for Cash Prizes and then placed back into the drum for the main raffle drawing. So Early Bird Ticket holders have a chance to win in both drawings.
Please bring your physical Sportsmen’s Saturday ticket with you to the event. You are required to show your ticket at the main entrance. Your ticket will also be used for entry into the door prize drawings.
We do recommend bringing a chair with you.
Yes, the event will be held rain or shine. We encourage all attendees to dress for the weather.
No Pets will be admitted unless recognized as a service animal. No coolers or outside food or beverages are allowed.
Attendance is not required to win. Once a ticket stub is drawn from the drum, it will be announced, entered into our system and forwarded to our tax representatives for any necessary paperwork. After the event, we will reach out to each winner to inform them of their prize.
Attendance is open to all ages. Children over 8 years old are required to have a guest ticket. Guest tickets include food and beverages but excludes raffle drawing participation. Participants in the raffle drawings must be at least 18 years old. Individuals must be 21 years or older to consume alcoholic beverages. Identification will be verified at the entrance and beverage tent.
This year, the event proceeds will benefit the Hematology-Oncology Clinic and Infusion Center at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Cancer Center – Lexington, now part of Atrium Health Levine Cancer. The monies raised will be used to support our Cancer Center – Lexington patients and their families by enhancing their physical comfort during treatment, enabling investments in things like new infusion chairs and cold caps (devices that reduce the hair loss caused by some types of chemotherapy), and for support of essential navigation, social work and survivorship services, as well as art and music therapy. Every dollar raised through Sportsmen’s Saturday stays right here in our community, benefiting local patients.
