“Helping Hand: Healthcare Financial Navigation” connects uninsured patients and families with financial and healthcare resources.
Our Financial Counseling team can help you identify possible insurance coverage, set up interest-free payment plans, and provide applicable financial assistance including Medicaid applications. In addition to our hospital-based financial services, we’re partnering with FaithHealth to provide community outreach and make financial counseling even easier to complete.
Before we schedule your elective appointment at Wake Forest Baptist Health, you’ll be asked to pay a deposit toward the cost of service. For new patients, the deposit is $100. For returning patients the deposit is $75. We also can refer you to a lower-cost clinic if you prefer. Returning patients will complete Financial Counseling before scheduling additional visits. We want you to “know before you owe” and have a payment plan ready to protect your financial peace of mind.
Note: Patients requesting an appointment for Obstetrical/Maternal-Fetal /Newborn care, or follow-up visits after Emergency Department services or surgery provided at Wake Forest Baptist Health will be scheduled both for an appointment and for financial counseling.
