Biography

Dr. Cody Blazek is a board-certified podiatric surgeon. His clinical interests are in podiatry, foot and ankle conditions and orthopaedics. Conditions he treats includes all foot and ankle conditions with interests in trauma, fractures, diabetic limb salvage, infections, osteomyelitis, arthritis, plantar fasciitis and ingrown toenails.

He is an assistant professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Wake Forest University School of Medicine.

Dr. Blazek’s research interests include arthrodesis (joint fusion), arthroscopy, diabetic limb salvage, and osteoarthritis and trauma of the foot and ankle.

He received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) at Temple University and completed residency in podiatric medicine and surgery at the University of Pittsburgh.
