Biography

After Internal Medicine training, I pursued subspecialization in Pulmonary Disease, Critical Care Medicine, Sleep Medicine, Clinical Informatics, and Military Medicine.

I am motivated to provide excellent care to my patients by helping them to understand their diagnosis and the plans for treatment.

I am married to a brilliant Infectious Disease doctor who specializes in HIV Medicine, and we have one daughter.

I joined the US Navy Reserve in 2003, have had three deployments overseas, and currently hold the Naval rank of Captain.
