Biography

“I am passionate about helping others achieve their goals, and I want to do everything possible to assist patients in maintaining or improving their physical lifestyles. I also care about advancing the specialty of podiatry through meaningful research and resident education.”

Dr. Lindsay LeSavage is a doctor of podiatric medicine who treats all conditions related to the forefoot, rearfoot and ankle. These include bunions, hammertoes, diabetic limb salvage, flatfoot deformity, arthritis, foot and ankle injuries, plantar fasciitis and ingrown toenails.

Her interest in podiatry began when she was a collegiate soccer player who experienced many foot injuries. While working as a medical scribe in the ER, she saw many complications of diabetic foot infections. This motivated her to join a profession that values preventive medicine just as much as acute clinical and surgical treatment.

Dr. LeSavage’s current research focuses on limb salvage in patients with diabetes and peripheral arterial disease. Her other research has focused on outcomes following tibiotalocalcaneal and tibiocalcaneal arthrodesis (fusion procedures).

Dr. LeSavage received her bachelor’s degree at Loyola University and her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) at Temple University. She completed residency at Wake Forest University.

Away from work, she enjoys outdoor activities, especially hiking, kayaking, pickleball and soccer.
