When Bert Butler, a young active man, was not getting the sleep he felt he needed, he decided to go to the Sleep Disorders Center at Wake Forest Baptist Health. After describing his symptoms of loud snoring, waking up several times throughout the night and not feeling rested in the morning, the physicians recommended he go through the simple process of a sleep study. He was diagnosed with sleep apnea.
“I was tired of being tired,” Bert said. Now he wakes up feeling rested and is able to accomplish more in his daily life than ever before.
With the simple fix of wearing a CPAP during the night, he is able to enjoy life a little more.
