At the Weight Management Center, we are using technology to help you achieve the success you want with the convenience you need. How nice would it be to have your appointments without having to leave home or work? Even more, what if we could continue to track your success for months or years, providing periodic feedback and individualized support, as a way of assisting you with long-term weight loss maintenance? These are just some of the services that we offer in order to make it easier and more convenient for you to get the most out of your program.
Mostly Virtual Programs
We have carefully crafted versions of our programs to accommodate people with busy lives and those who live farther away from our clinics in Winston-Salem and Greensboro. These mostly virtual programs combine video visits, remote patient monitoring, and online classes to create programs that maximize your convenience and help you fully engage in your program. The mostly virtual programs require less than one-third of the in-person visits of our regular By Design programs. So, with significantly less travel and time away from home and work, you can still get the same amount of interaction with your expert WMC team.
Video Visits
Video Visits are your regular program visits, but instead of coming to the clinic to meet with your providers, you can meet with them using your mobile device (like a phone or tablet) or computer. You and your provider are able to see and hear each other, just as if you were sitting in the same room together. Having a video visit does not require any special equipment (only a smartphone, tablet, or computer), and for many patients, video visits are available at no additional cost.

Remote Patient Monitoring
Our “On Track” monitoring system helps you succeed with your weight management goals, whether you're actively losing weight or working to maintain the weight that you lost in our programs. “On Track” provides our clinicians with information from several sources, including an electronic scale that we provide you, wearable activity trackers, and your reported food and beverage intake, all of which allows us to stay up-to-date on your daily progress. Our team can then use that information to provide you with feedback to help you achieve your goals.
